Abstract

It is studied The MIT-BIH Normal Sinus Rhythm Database applying to the heartbeat time-series ad hoc, a statistical technique of analysis based on the Wavelet and Hilbert Transforms. With that technique it was previously found, that there is a nonlinear, collective and intrinsic dynamical behavior in the heartbeat during the night and day hours, from 1--64 heartbeats. Now it is shown, that using the Biorthogonal wavelet bior3.1 such a behavior reaches the scale 1024 in periods $\sim 24$ h without being affected by the circadian cycle in its statistic. That result confirms, that the circulatory system is out of equilibrium. Furthermore, consistently to the Statistics of Tsallis, to the healthy human being it corresponds the nonextensive parameter $q=1.70\pm0.01$.
