In this work we present the experimental results of the output spectra of an erbium-doped fiber amplifier when it's coupled with an ytterbium-doped fiber. The use of a superluminescent source in the proposed cascade configuration provides an improvement on 61% on SNR, moreover, in the output signal causes a decreases in spectral width, and filters the pumping signal.Downloads
