Hamiltonian structures for the acoustic field
Keywords:
Acoustic field, Hamiltonian structuresAbstract
It is shown that the Hamiltonian structures for the acoustic field obtained by means of the canonical formalism using as field variables the components of the molecular displacements or the variation of the gas density are different and lead to different Poisson brackets. It is shown that by requiring that the values of the Hamiltonians coincide, the Poisson brackets also coincide.Downloads
