A switchable dual wavelength fiber laser is proposed and experimentally demonstrated based on fiber Bragg gratings by using a linear cavity, adjusting the overlap on the Bragg gratings and the homogeneous gain broadening of the erbium doped fiber (EDF). The single or dual lasing wavelength can be also obtained by matching the wavelength of the Bragg gratings.Downloads
