Dimensional regularization with non Beta-functions
Keywords:

The most general method to regularize Feynman's integrals in quantum field theory is Dimensional Regularization, in which the most common way to evaluate the associated integral involves Beta functions. We present a new method to evaluate the integral through the residue theorem. We apply our method to a toy model on universal extra dimensions and show that radiative corrections changes the shift-mass between zero and Kaluza-Klein excited modes.Downloads
