Modulation of spatial coherence of optical field by means of liquid crystal light modulator

The theory of modulation of spatial coherence of optical field with the aid of a dynamic diffusion screen is given. Some useful models of a random phase screen are considered. The possibility of modulation of spatial coherence by means of liquid crystal light modulator is demonstrated with a physical experiment.Downloads
